Episode is a local-first app for tracking mood, symptoms, triggers, and recent entry history.

Information We Collect Episode stores the information you choose to enter in the app, such as:

• mood
• symptoms
• triggers
• recent entry history
• optional profile information used inside the app

How Your Data Is Used Episode uses your data only to provide app features, including:

• daily check-in
• history view
• recent-entry recap
• App Intents and Shortcuts actions

Local-First Storage Episode is designed to store data locally on your device. Your entries are not uploaded to our servers by default.

Foundation Models Episode may use Apple Foundation Models to generate a short recap of your recent entries. This recap is generated only from your own logged data and is intended as a descriptive summary. Episode does not use AI to diagnose, predict, classify conditions, or recommend treatment.

Data Sharing We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.

Data Retention and Deletion Your data remains on your device unless you remove the app or delete app data through available device or app controls.

Children’s Privacy Episode is not designed to provide social features, advertising, or unrestricted web access. The app is rated based on App Store age-rating requirements.
